¡MEMORIAL DAY! FLAT SEAL THANKS YOU ALL

Memorial Day or Memorial Day is an American holiday dedicated to remembering the deceased in the performance of their military activities. The commemoration reflects the practice of decorating the graves of fallen soldiers.

After the American Civil War, the annual decoration of the tombs became common in different parts of the country.

For many years it was known as the Day of Decoration and was commemorated on May 30. Eventually, it began to be called Memorial Day.

In 1971, a law was passed that changed the holiday to the last Monday in May.

In many cities, the occasion is celebrated with parades and military bands.

Memorial Day is also known as the day unofficially begins summer in the US.
